Levides
Framework
Levides is a 4.8-hectare plot located close to the A25 highway (40° 40’ 50,6” N; 8° 11’ 12,8” W), União de Freguesias de Cambra e Carvalhal de Vermilhas, in county of Vouzela, in Viseu district. The management of the land results from a management protocol made with Mr. Alberto Rego, individually, with a duration of 10 years, starting in September 2019 and ending in the same month of 2029.
The property is located between the levels at 480 to 520m, with a 10% slope, a little more pronounced in the area adjacent to the central water line.
The property burned in October 2017. The fire thwarted the landowner’s efforts to create a maritime pine farm on the land.
The property’s soil alternates between granite outcrops and soils apparently with some depth and good moisture retention capacity.
