About the campaign:
“Something entrusted to us” was a campaign organised to increase the biodiversity, richness, and social value in abandoned/damaged properties. To that end, natural processes to increase the diversity and resilience of the landscape were promoted. The purchase of these marginal properties, left to be abandoned, involved the local community. The amount raised was devoted to the purchase of around 11 ha in Pampilhosa da Serra, to ensure the control of forest fuels in managed properties, as well as to purchase future properties.
